MHL

Welcome to Minor.Hockey.Life.

You can read articles offering advice for parents (and players) about hockey skills, equipment, safety, and behaviour in ON THE ICE and in OFF the ICE categories.

There are first person essays in THE  NEUTRAL ZONE and great Q&A pieces in PROFILES.

IN THE STANDS has informational pieces and you’ll find healthful advice four your player in the NUTRITION section.

Please feel free to sip your Tim Horton’s take-out and join in the discussion in The Smoking Area.

NEW: Guest Columnists!

We invite hockey parents to submit a  250-300 word opinion-editorial piece on any topic related to minor hockey. We will post these in our FROM THE POINT column, published bi-weekly (twice per month).

Read the Submissions page, then email us your finished article, or pitch us at yoursinhockey at gmail.com.

For samples of the type of op-ed piece, read What We Gave Up for Rep Hockeyor Watch Your Language, to get a sense of the type of material our guest columnists write.
